texture in maya and eye balls!

still gotta work on the shirt, gloves and shoes

after improving the map by darkening the skin i realized the trousers and skin tone blended in too much. 


tried making them lighter...nope! 


darker it is

comparison in udk. before>after
lighting is too dark to see the trousers but skin is looking darker in places

texturing



the colour scheme is too subtle to appear over the normal map

the darker colour makes the creases stand out a little more




an initial attempt at showing creases in the trousers



they aren't showing in udk too well :/ 


but the character is never seen that close so i should stop stressing over too much detail.
